Devín is the smallest district of Bratislava — a little over a thousand residents — and lies at the confluence of the Danube and the Morava, below the castle rock. It is built almost entirely of family houses; apartment buildings are few.
Mostly family houses
The houses vary: from older masonry buildings in the original core to newer villas on the slopes above the river. What they have in common is that they tend to have several floors and more than one bathroom, so the price is calculated from the usable area and the number of bathrooms rather than the room count.
It is enough to send us the area, the number of floors and the number of bathrooms. We confirm the price in writing before the order; we carry out a survey only if you ask for one.
Cellars, boiler rooms, workshops and garages are not part of a standard clean. We can add them as an extra at the hourly rate of €15 — it is usually one to two hours of work.

Extras are the same as elsewhere in Bratislava: oven €20, fridge €16, extractor hood €20, windows from €12 each, carpet cleaning €2 per m².
Damp by the river
Sitting at the confluence of two rivers means higher air humidity than inland in the city, and cleaning shows it. Surface mould appears more often in cellars and on north-facing walls, especially in periods of high water. We remove it and treat the surface, but if the cause is structural damp, cleaning only postpones it — we say so directly rather than have you order the same job every month.
For the same reason we recommend more often here than elsewhere that you air the place thoroughly after a clean and leave the doors between rooms open until the floors dry.
Windows and the view
Most houses have large windows facing the river and the castle, and that is exactly where dirt shows most. We wash the glass, the frame including its channels and the sill — not just the pane. We do the outside where it can be reached safely from inside or from a terrace; we do not work on a ladder against the façade, and we say so beforehand so that you are not paying for it.
In houses on the slope, one side of the ground floor is often set into the terrain — there the windows cannot be washed from outside at all, and we point that out when confirming the price.
Dates and access
Devín is further from the centre and the access road runs along the river, so we plan slots with the route in mind. We charge no travel surcharge. A free window is usually available within 24 to 48 hours; for edge-of-day times we confirm in advance.
It pays to put in the note where the entrance is and whether there is a dog — not an obstacle, just information better had in advance.

On a regular arrangement the discount reaches 20% against the one-off price and the same person comes each time, already familiar with the layout of the house. You do not sign a fixed-term contract and visits can be moved or paused at any point.
If you use the house for recreation rather than living in it year-round, the most common order is a deep clean at the start and the end of the season. After a winter break, besides dust, the taps and the shower usually need descaling — water leaves visible deposits when it has stood unused for a while.
