Dúbravka is one of Bratislava's large housing estates, home to about 34,000 people and built mostly in the 1970s and 1980s. The development is uniform, which makes cleaning predictable to plan — and the district also has one peculiarity that does not occur elsewhere.
The slope, and what it changes
Dúbravka is built on a hillside, and entrances are often raised or reached by steps even when the building has a lift. For an ordinary clean that plays no part; for upholstery cleaning or a move-out clean, when the technician brings equipment, it means a few extra minutes. That is why we ask both about the floor and about whether the entrance is step-free.
Typical flats
Two- and three-room panel flats of roughly 45 to 70 m² dominate, with a narrow hallway, a separate kitchen and a separate toilet. Flats of the same layout differ very little, so pricing by room count works reliably here and the time estimate is accurate.
A large share of the flats have had the bathroom renovated in recent years. New tiling and shower enclosures are cleaned differently from original bathtubs — especially glass screens, where limescale shows far more than on enamel. Descaling is part of a standard clean, not an extra.

A loggia is charged separately at €15 and in Dúbravka it is ordered mostly in spring — over winter it collects dust and road salt that sweeping will not remove. Oven, fridge and extractor hood have fixed prices of €20, €16 and €20.
Getting there and available dates
Dúbravka is further from the centre than Ružinov or Nové Mesto, but well connected by tram. We plan slots so that the cleaner serves several addresses within the district in sequence — which gives the same availability here as in the centre, usually within 24 hours, and no distance surcharge.
Families and regular cleaning
Families with children predominate in Dúbravka, and with them the demand for regular cleaning. A weekly interval carries a discount of up to 20% against the one-off price, and the same cleaner comes each time, already knowing where things are. You do not sign a fixed-term contract and a visit can be moved at any point.

Many Dúbravka flats are let, and that drives the most common one-off order in this district — cleaning at handover or take-over of a flat. When handing one back it pays to add the inside of the oven and the fridge: these are the two things a landlord checks first, and their condition decides the deposit more often than the state of the floor.
The second typical order is cleaning after painting. Panel flats are repainted fairly often, and sanding dust spreads through the whole flat in a standard layout with a narrow hallway. This service is charged by area from €1.50 per m² rather than by room count, because it is a different job from ordinary cleaning.
If an animal lives in the flat, tell us when you order. Hair in carpet or upholstery lengthens vacuuming and sometimes has to be lifted mechanically first — it does not change the price, but it is worth booking a slot with a little margin.
