Záhorská Bystrica is one of Bratislava's smallest districts — around five thousand residents — and at the same time one of the fastest growing. Whole streets of new houses have been added to the original village development in recent years.
Two kinds of household
The original houses are older, often extended in stages, with smaller rooms and several levels. The usable area tends to be larger than it looks from the street, and cleaning takes longer than the number of rooms would suggest.
New builds are the opposite case: open-plan layouts, large glazed areas, underfloor heating. Open space is quicker to clean, but glazing means considerably more surface to wash, and streaks show on it more than on small windows.
Underfloor heating changes the method: we wash with a well-wrung mop, because with the heating on, standing moisture evaporates more slowly and leaves marks at the laminate joints.

For family houses, pricing by room count does not fit and is calculated individually from the usable area and the number of bathrooms. Send us both and we will confirm the price in writing before the order — we carry out a survey only on request. Cellars, boiler rooms and garages are not part of the standard, but we can add them at the hourly rate of €15.
Extras have fixed prices: oven €20, fridge €16, extractor hood €20, windows from €12 each. For houses we do not charge more for them just because it is a house.
Gardens and seasonality
Almost every house here has a garden, and cleaning shows it all year. In summer soil and plant matter are carried indoors, in autumn leaves, in spring pollen. Vacuuming and mopping therefore take longer than in a flat of the same area, especially if the house has carpets or textile mats.
The seasonal peak falls in spring and early autumn — a deep clean before and after the season. Slots fill faster in these periods, so we recommend booking several days ahead.
Windows
In new builds with large glazed areas, window washing is a separate service and the most frequently ordered extra. We wash the glass, the frame including its channels and the sill — not just the pane. We do the outside where it can be reached safely from inside or from a terrace; we do not work on a ladder against the façade, and we say so beforehand so that you are not paying for it.
Dates and availability
Záhorská Bystrica is further from the centre, but we charge no travel surcharge. A free slot is usually available within 24 hours. If you need an early morning or late evening time, put it in the note — in the more distant locations it is a matter of route planning and we confirm it in advance.
For houses it pays to state where the entrance is and whether there is a dog. It is not an obstacle, just information better had in advance than sorted out at the gate.

In new builds with a reception or a remote-controlled gate it pays to arrange access in advance. It sounds like a trifle, but not being able to reach the house is the most common reason an appointment slips — the cleaner stands at the gate and you are at work.
If the house is still being finished, order the clean only after the tradesmen have left and leftover materials have been taken away. Construction dust keeps settling for several days after the work ends, and a clean on the day the tradesmen close the door has to be repeated two days later. This service is also charged by area from €1.50 per m², not by room count.
On a regular arrangement the discount reaches 20% against the one-off price and the same person comes each time, already familiar with the house. You do not sign a fixed-term contract and visits can be moved or paused at any point.
