Petržalka is the largest housing estate in Slovakia — with roughly 103,000 residents it is bigger than the country's second-largest city. For a cleaning company that means one practical thing: flats here are of very similar types, so we can estimate the time and the method far more accurately than in districts with mixed development.
What kind of flats we clean here
Most are panel flats from the 1970s and 1980s, usually two- and three-room, roughly 45 to 70 m². The layout tends to repeat: a narrow hallway, a kitchen separated from the living room, one bathroom and a separate toilet. The separate toilet is the detail that does not show up in the price list but does show up in the time — it is two rooms instead of one.
Taller buildings almost always have a lift, lower blocks often do not. That is why we ask about the floor when you order: for a move-out clean or upholstery cleaning, when the technician carries equipment, it is a few minutes each way.

Prices are fixed and based on the number of rooms, not on square metres — with uniform panel housing that works reliably, because flats of the same layout differ very little in floor area. Extras such as the oven, the fridge or windows have their own fixed prices and you add them yourself.
Windows and balconies
Two things stand out in Petržalka more than elsewhere. The first is windows: a large share of flats faces Einsteinova or Panónska, and the glass here gets dirty noticeably faster than in quieter districts. Where twice a year is enough elsewhere, a quarterly interval makes sense here.
The second is loggias. In panel buildings they double as storage, and cleaning one is a separate item at €15. With a spring clean it is ordered almost every time — over the winter they collect road salt and dust that ordinary sweeping will not remove.
Getting there and available dates
Petržalka is easy to plan visits in: it is compact and easy to move around, so we can serve several addresses a day without long transfers. A slot is usually available within 24 hours, and for a morning booking often sooner. Parking on the estate is subject to residential zones, but the cleaner arrives by public transport or stops briefly — it is not something you have to arrange.
What people in Petržalka order most often
Three situations repeat. The first is rentals — Petržalka has a high share of let flats, and cleaning between tenants is more common here than anywhere else in Bratislava. The second is a deep clean after winter, tied to exactly those loggias and windows. The third is regular cleaning in families where both parents work — a weekly interval carries a discount of up to 20%.
