Vrakuňa is a quiet district in the east of Bratislava with about 21,000 residents. It consists mostly of a panel estate from the 1970s and 1980s, complemented by older family houses along the Little Danube.
What kind of flats we clean here
Two- and three-room panel flats of 45 to 70 m² predominate. The layouts are standard, so cleaning time can be estimated precisely and a slot planned without extra margin. Taller buildings have a lift, lower blocks not always — which is why we ask about the floor when you order.
Some flats have had the bathroom renovated. New glass shower screens are cleaned differently from original bathtubs: limescale shows more on glass and is removed with a descaler rather than mechanically. Descaling is part of a standard clean.

Extras have fixed prices regardless of location: oven €20, fridge €16, extractor hood €20, loggia €15, windows from €12 each. You choose them yourself when ordering and see the final amount before confirming.
Greenery, and what it changes
By Bratislava standards Vrakuňa has an exceptional amount of greenery — the Vrakuňa forest park and the banks of the Little Danube are right behind the buildings. For cleaning that means two things. In spring and summer far more pollen and plant matter is carried into flats, so vacuuming takes longer than in dense urban development. And in households with a dog — of which there are above-average numbers here, thanks to the forest park — hair builds up in carpet and upholstery, and that has to be lifted mechanically before vacuuming.
Windows and loggias
Unlike districts on the main routes, windows here get dirty more slowly, so the usual six-month washing interval is enough. Loggias are another matter: they are used as living space, and after winter they are left with dust and salt that sweeping will not remove. Cleaning a loggia costs €15 and is most often ordered in spring.

Vrakuňa is further from the centre, but we charge no travel surcharge — slots are planned so that the cleaner serves several addresses within the district in sequence. A free window is usually available within 24 hours. You book online, confirmation arrives immediately, and you can pay by card or in cash.

A category of its own are flats with underfloor heating, which have become more common in the newer development by the forest park. They call for less water when washing the floor and a mop that wrings out well — standing moisture evaporates more slowly with the heating on than it seems, and it leaves marks on laminate joints.
If you let the flat, the most common one-off order is cleaning at tenant changeover. It pays to add the inside of the oven and the fridge: the landlord checks both first, and their condition decides the deposit more often than the state of the floor. The oven costs €20, the fridge €16.
When ordering it is enough to state the floor and whether the lift works. Products, mops and the vacuum cleaner are brought by the cleaner — we need nothing from you but access to the flat. If your building has an entry code or fob, put it in the note: not being able to get into the building is the most common reason for a postponed appointment.
