Rovinka is a municipality south-east of Bratislava that has gone through one of the most striking transformations in the area around the city in recent years. Large developer projects — family houses and smaller apartment buildings — have been added to the original village.
New apartment buildings
Unlike most surrounding municipalities, the share of flats here is noticeable. They are newer projects with open-plan layouts, large windows and underfloor heating. The ordinary room-count price list applies to them.
For flats with two bathrooms we recommend the higher category: in time terms a second bathroom is a separate room, not an extra, and an estimate by room count would not cover it.

Prices are the same as in Bratislava, but since this is a municipality outside the city, we always confirm the final amount in writing before the order — so that you know it in advance rather than after the work is done.
For family houses the price is calculated from the usable area and the number of bathrooms. Send us both and we will confirm it in writing before the order; we carry out a survey only on request.
New development and its quirks
Large-format tiling and floating floors are common in the houses and flats built in recent years. Both tolerate water worse than old PVC, so we wash with a well-wrung mop — standing water at the joints is the most common reason a floor starts to move a year later.
If the house or flat is still being finished, order the clean only after the tradesmen have left and leftover materials have been taken away. Construction dust keeps settling for several days and is charged by area from €1.50 per m², not by room count — it is a different job from ordinary cleaning.
Commuting and available dates
Most residents commute to Bratislava for work and households tend to be empty during the day. Keys are therefore handed over more often here than elsewhere — collection before the clean and return after it cost €8 each, and the procedure is agreed once and then applies to every subsequent visit.
A free window is usually available within 48 hours. Slots are planned so that addresses in the area follow one another, which is why we confirm edge-of-day times in advance.
Regular cleaning
The most common order is regular cleaning once a fortnight or weekly. At a weekly interval the discount reaches 20% against the one-off price, and it is also objectively less work: a maintained flat needs considerably less time than one cleaned once a month.
You do not sign a fixed-term contract and you can pause the arrangement at any point, over the summer for instance.

You book online, pick the slot yourself from the free ones, and confirmation arrives immediately. You can pay by card or in cash after the clean.
Put in the note where the entrance is and whether the building has a reception or fob-operated gate. Not being able to get into the building is the most common reason an appointment slips — and in new development with gated grounds it happens more often than in older areas.
If you have an animal at home, mention it when ordering. Hair works into the fibre of carpet and upholstery and cannot be drawn out even by a powerful vacuum cleaner; it has to be lifted mechanically before vacuuming. It does not change the price, but it is worth leaving a little margin on the slot.
