From a cleaning point of view Ružinov is the most varied district in Bratislava. Buildings from the 1960s, panel blocks from the 1970s and recent developments around Nivy all meet in one place — and each type calls for a different method and a different time estimate.
Three types of flat in one district
The older brick buildings around Ostredky and Štrkovec have flats of roughly 50 to 70 m², often partly renovated, with original parquet and sometimes the original bathroom. Parquet tolerates water worse than a floating floor, so it is cleaned with less moisture — a detail that decides whether the floor starts to move a year later.
The panel buildings along Ružinovská are close in type to those in Petržalka. New developments in Nivy and Trnávka are the opposite: larger, open-plan, with big glazed areas and often underfloor heating. Open space is quicker to clean, but glazing means more surface to wash and streaks that show far more.

For larger new-build flats with two bathrooms we recommend the higher category — in terms of time a second bathroom is a separate room, not an extra. You see the final amount before you confirm the order, and nothing is added afterwards.
Nivy and short-term rentals
Since the shopping centre and bus station were completed, the area around Nivy has become one of the strongest short-term rental locations in Bratislava. For hosts that means turnovers between guests within a precise time window — we reserve the slot firmly, and with several flats in the same building we plan the route so they follow one another.
Offices
Ružinov is also the strongest office location outside the centre. Office cleaning is charged by area from €0.14 per m² on a regular schedule and is done outside business hours — early morning, evening or at the weekend. Companies are invoiced monthly with payment terms, and the scope of work is part of the contract.
Dates and availability
Ružinov is quick to reach from the centre and we have a dense network of slots here, so a free window is usually available within 24 hours. In new buildings with a reception or fob entry we agree in advance how the cleaner gets in — it is the most common reason for a pointlessly postponed appointment, and one sentence in the order note solves it.
Neighbouring districts
We also work nearby: Staré Mesto Nové Mesto Petržalka. If you manage several flats in different parts of the city, we can put them on one schedule with a single monthly invoice.
A category of its own is flats after renovation, and the older Ružinov buildings have plenty of them. Post-construction cleaning is a different service from ordinary cleaning: fine dust keeps settling for several days after the tradesmen leave, and it is cleaned dry first and only then wet. It is charged by area from €1.50 per m², not by room count, and it is best ordered once the construction waste has been taken away.
One more note on parking: much of Ružinov falls under residential zones. That does not hold the cleaner up — she comes by public transport — but for upholstery cleaning or a move-out clean, when the technician brings equipment by car, it is worth mentioning whether a visitor space is available. It saves the time that would otherwise go into looking for one.
