Vajnory is a north-eastern district with about five thousand residents. It has kept the character of a separate village with a wine-growing past — family houses predominate, and new streets have been added to them in recent years.
Mostly houses, not flats
There are few apartment buildings here, so most orders concern family houses. They tend to have several floors, often two bathrooms and a utility section — a cellar, a workshop or a garage. The price is therefore calculated from the usable area and the number of bathrooms, not from the room count.
Just send us the area and the number of bathrooms and we will confirm the price in writing before the order — we carry out a survey only on request. Cellars, boiler rooms and garages are not part of the standard, but we can add them at the hourly rate of €15.

Old houses and their quirks
Stone and terrazzo floors are common in the original development. They are porous and react badly to acidic products — an ordinary limescale remover used on such a floor leaves dull patches that cannot be undone. We use neutral products on them, so it pays to mention what kind of floors you have when ordering.
The second thing is old wooden windows. The fittings tend to be loose and the sash may not close by itself once opened. If the technician sees that, you will be told before the window is opened — so the problem is not put down to the washing.
Vineyards and the season
Vajnory has kept its wine-growing character and with it a seasonal rhythm. In autumn, during the grape harvest and the home celebrations that go with it, demand for one-off cleaning before and after guests rises sharply. Slots fill faster in this period, so we recommend booking ahead rather than relying on the usual 24 hours.
After a larger celebration, cleaning is most often ordered together with washing up and carpet cleaning — wine on a carpet or upholstery is treated separately before the main clean, since an overall carpet clean will not remove it by itself.
The airport and noise
Part of Vajnory lies near the airport, and in those streets windows get dirty faster than in quieter development. Washing them more often than twice a year makes sense here — the difference in daylight is noticeable above all in winter, when the day is short.

Gardens are the rule here rather than the exception, and in summer that means noticeably more soil and plant matter indoors. Vacuuming and mopping therefore take longer than in a flat of the same area — especially if the house has carpets, which trap dirt deeper than a hard floor.
If you have an animal at home, say so when ordering. Hair works into the fibre of carpet and upholstery and will not come out even with a powerful vacuum cleaner — it has to be lifted mechanically before vacuuming. It does not change the price, but it is worth booking a slot with a little margin.
